This position is responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of the construction process from conception to completion, including budgeting, facilitating design construction, and closeout. Type: Direct Hire; Full Time Compensation: $100k+/year
Position Overview :
Prepare project budgets for new construction.
Manage the day-to-day scheduling and workload for construction projects .
Solicit subcontractor estimates and assist with contracts/LOIs.
Track and manage daily workflow for construction projects, including daily communication, RFIs, COs, etc.
Perform site visits to monitor job progress.
Assist drafters with construction drawings.
Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
Must have a minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience that includes retail, education, multi-family, government, hospitality, health care, or similar commercial construction projects
Must be willing to travel a few times per month
Proven project management skills within the commercial construction field
Extensive prior experience reading construction plans and specifications
Adept at handling multiple projects/tasks at the same time
Capable of reading and understanding legal documents and contracts
