Billing Specialist
Preference Employment Solutions is recruiting for a Billing Specialist to join a growing local business. The ideal candidate has a strong personality, a good sense of humor, and can own the job on day one. Compensation: $21-$24/hour, DOE
Type: Direct Hire, Full Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Benefits: Health; profit sharing; PTO
Position Overview:
- Answer phones.
- Prepare work/service orders.
- Process service industry billing/AR.
- Collect service/work orders from technicians.
Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
- Must have at least an AA in accounting and 5 years of previous billing experience in the construction industry
- Adept with MS Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and the creation of basic formulas and formatting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when providing exceptional customer service
- Capable of thriving when working independently
