Unlock a leadership opportunity as our client's Accounting Manager, where you'll oversee a team and shape financial success. As a prospective candidate, showcase your accounting prowess by crafting monthly financial statements, ensuring policy compliance, and contributing to strategic financial reporting. Location: Fargo, ND
Type of Position: Direct Hire, Full Time
Compensation: Starting at $100k/year, DOE

Position Overview:

Manage 2-3 direct reports in the accounting department.
Prepare monthly financial statements and the annual budget.
Recommend, review, and monitor compliance with financial policies, procedures, and controls.
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting, ensuring accuracy while adhering to strict deadlines.
Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), internal control procedures, and compliance with PCAOB guidelines;assist with SEC filings.

Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:

Bachelor s degree, preferably in finance or accounting;Associate degree with a mix of experience may be considered
3+ years of accounting experience required;supervisory experience preferred
Property/Asset management experience preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent analytical and strategic problem-solving skills
