Deputy Director
Preference Employment Solutions is actively seeking a Deputy Director to lead the Administration Division of a local non-profit organization, overseeing Finance, Community Relations, HR, IT, and more. Don't miss this opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our community!



Compensation: $100k+/year, DOE
Type of Position: Direct Hire, Full Time




Position Overview
  • Advise Executive Director on division matters and strategic planning.
  • Lead division departments for efficiency and compliance.
  • Coordinate logistics and organization.
  • Foster team collaboration and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
  • Manage division budgets and operations.




Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in upper-level management
  • CPRP certification or ability to obtain
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of public organization laws
  • Financial acumen and decision-making ability
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to excellence

What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a professional football player. I still wait anxiously every year for my name to get called in the NFL Draft.

If you could interview anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? I’d interview John Wooden who was the basketball coach at UCLA.  He was an excellent basketball coach but an even better teacher of life principles which I’m passionate about.

What are your top 3 life highlights or personal accomplishments? Ran a Full Marathon, Played College Football & Made the Decision to Live a Life of Continuous Growth
