Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

Location: Fargo, ND

Compensation: Starting at $90k/year, DOE




Position Overview: 
  • Lead and manage the engineering team, including engineers, drafters, and support staff.
  • Oversee the design and detailing of structural steel components, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement engineering standards, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team, addressing challenges and ensuring problem resolution.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, safety, and continuous improvement within the engineering department.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.




Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in engineering management within the structural steel fabrication industry.
  • Strong knowledge of structural design, steel detailing, and fabrication processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

What are your top 3 life highlights or personal accomplishments? Ran a Full Marathon, Played College Football & Made the Decision to Live a Life of Continuous Growth
