Operations Coordinator

This position is responsible for coordinating the supply chain, production, warehousing, and distribution processes while managing people and driving sales. Type: Temp-to-Hire, Part Time (18-20 hours/week)
Location: Fargo, ND
Compensation: Starting at $21/hour
Position Overview:
- Source and identify new ingredient and packaging suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
- Coordinate inventory of ingredients and packaging materials while also ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Coordinate labeling and ensure compliance with FDA regulations.
- Schedule production to ensure a one-month inventory level and to meet sales demands.
- Coordinate production staff and work with temp agencies to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Determine more efficient ways of production and seek continuous improvement.
Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
- 3+ years of experience in operations required
- Must have food safety experience or FDA knowledge
- Outstanding communication & organizational skills
- Experience with Quickbooks and adept with MS Office suite
- Equally at home working individually and as part of a team
- Keen attention to detail with superior problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of FDA regulations & compliance
