Type: Full-time, Direct Hire Location: Fargo, ND Compensation: Starting at$80k/year, DOE
Position Overview:
Oversee the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
Manage inventory levels to ensure parts availability while minimizing excess stock.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure the best pricing and delivery schedules.
Train and supervise parts department staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable and provide excellent customer service.
Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Ensure that all parts are stored in an organized and accessible manner.
Implement and maintain effective procedures for tracking inventory and parts orders.
Work closely with other departments to ensure parts availability for service and repairs.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to parts.
Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
Proven experience in parts management, preferably in the automotive or related industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using inventory management software and other relevant tools.
