Type: Direct Hire, Full Time

Compensation: Starting $75k/year, DOE




Position Overview: 
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to define project specifications.
  • Identify and allocate necessary resources while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Recruit contractors and personnel, assigning roles and responsibilities as required.
  • Monitor project advancement through various logs, including submittal, cost, RFI, and change order logs.
  • Oversee and authorize purchase orders.
  • Negotiate and formalize change orders to adapt to project requirements.




Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:



  • Construction project management experience with a deep understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
  • Prioritization skills to manage tasks based on their importance level
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively within a team
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills

If you could interview anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? I’d interview John Wooden who was the basketball coach at UCLA.  He was an excellent basketball coach but an even better teacher of life principles which I’m passionate about.
