Vice President of Sales Preference Employment Solutions is now searching for a dynamic VP of Sales to join a rapidly growing company in Warren, MN. Location: Warren, MN Type of Position: Direct Hire, Full Time Compensation: $100k-$120k/year; bonus potential Position Overview:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
Provide strong leadership to the sales team, setting clear goals, performance expectations, and coaching to optimize sales performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with marketing and accounting.
Develop and execute a comprehensive territory management plan, identifying key markets, potential clients, and growth opportunities.
Travel regularly within the assigned territory to meet with clients, understand their needs, and leverage relationships to drive sales success.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and actively pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
Conduct regular client meetings to strengthen relationships, address concerns, and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Establish and monitor sales targets, closely tracking performance against goals, and implementing corrective measures as needed.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to inform decision-making and guide future sales initiatives.
Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Establish clear communication channels, performance metrics, and accountability measures to drive team productivity and success.
Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably at the executive level
Extensive experience in driving sales growth, managing territories, and exceeding revenue targets.
Strong and proven leadership skills
Analytical mindset
Willingness to travel
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
