Vice President of Sales
Preference Employment Solutions is now searching for a dynamic VP of Sales to join a rapidly growing company in Warren, MN. Location: Warren, MN Type of Position: Direct Hire, Full Time
Compensation: $100k-$120k/year; bonus potential
Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Provide strong leadership to the sales team, setting clear goals, performance expectations, and coaching to optimize sales performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with marketing and accounting.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory management plan, identifying key markets, potential clients, and growth opportunities.
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory to meet with clients, understand their needs, and leverage relationships to drive sales success.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and actively pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Conduct regular client meetings to strengthen relationships, address concerns, and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Establish and monitor sales targets, closely tracking performance against goals, and implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to inform decision-making and guide future sales initiatives.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Establish clear communication channels, performance metrics, and accountability measures to drive team productivity and success.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably at the executive level
- Extensive experience in driving sales growth, managing territories, and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong and proven leadership skills
- Analytical mindset
- Willingness to travel
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
