Preference Employment Solutions is confidentially recruiting for a Senior Project Manager for an organization based in Fargo, North Dakota. Additional specific details about this opportunity will be shared with potentially qualified applicants upon a review of each resume. This position will oversee multimillion-dollar capital improvements for buildings and properties in multiple states. Management for these projects will include the beginning design phase through the completion of the work and any follow-up items.
Position Overview:
Create annual plan and budget for capital improvements
Directly manage all projects from end-to-end
Ensure specifications, timelines, and budgets are met with communication to stakeholders if/when critical items change
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, consultants, and any other partners included in the project life cycle
Travel to project locations as necessary during key phases and project milestones (approx. 50%)
Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
Bachelor s degree in construction management or related field preferred
A minimum of 2 years experience as a Project Manager in construction
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Knowledge of building codes, permitting, and plan reviews required
Excellent technical, analytical, and operational skills
Ability to manage multiple competing tasks/demands, meet deadlines, and manage time efficiently
Ability to travel/drive a vehicle with a valid driver s license and acceptable driving record
